Poem
of the Day
The Poem on this page will
change from time to time and is chosen from those not linked in the Index
Siamese
Wedgies and Appleheads, Classics as well,
In Sealpoint or Chocolate and of Blue I can tell,
Lilac, Albino, some Red and some Cream,
Tortie and Lynx a variants dream.
Of Torbies as well, enthusiasts croon,
And then there are some that dream of the moon.
In their wish to relate to the origins here;
Oriental and Snowshoe are just two that are dear,
To hearts of the humans that serve this Royal Breed
From the King of Siam who provided the lead,
Before Mr Gould had bought them to please,
His sister, in Britain, the first Siamese.
