"Slater C. Clampitt"

Easter 2002

At age 9 and a Future "Star"

A Porcupine Ship
To take a trip
To far off prickly shores
A Pirate King
With a song to sing
Of the land of the Rumply Boars

Written by Philip

Oh noble Prince
Of Elfin Lore
As you set foot
Upon this shore

Rid us this hour
A Dragon fierce
His flame from out
His mouth will pierce

A Knight in Armour
Shining bright
Yet lost this battle
In one short night

Yet armed with magic
Sword at side
Will make the dragon
Flee to hide.

Elves when they
Are in between
Child and Adult
Elfin Teen

And yet their magic
Powers not rounded
Will end with certain
Elves yet grounded

Take care young soul
In case you stray
From Elfin Lore
Upon this day

Fairy flight upon the wing
Keep aerial guard upon the ring
And warn the Elfin Folk below
If evil orcs do show

For in such times as magic lore
Those orcs are a threat to all before
And only when you're high in flight
You see for us, through day and night

And keep us safe from orcish harm
By magic wing and Elfin charm
Oh Fairy thou art blessed indeed
And kinship with the Elfin breed.
